Black Cat Reads – Subscription Agreement

This Subscription Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs the purchase and ongoing participation in any subscription offered by Black Cat Reads (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing a subscription through our Shopify store, you (“Customer”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Subscription Services:
Black Cat Reads offers recurring monthly book subscription services. Each subscription includes curated book selections based on the subscription description at the time of purchase. Specific titles, genres, and formats may vary month to month. 

2. Billing & Payment Authorization (ACH)
By selecting ACH (bank account) as your payment method and completing your purchase, you authorize Black Cat Reads to initiate recurring electronic debit entries from the bank account you provide. Charges will occur on a recurring monthly basis for the subscription price disclosed at checkout, plus any applicable taxes.   

You confirm that you are an authorized signer on the bank account provided and that you
authorize these recurring ACH debits until your subscription is canceled in accordance with thisAgreement.

3. Payment Processing
ACH withdrawals may take several business days to process. If a payment is returned, rejected, or fails for any reason, your subscription may be paused or canceled until payment is successfully completed.

4. Subscription Term & Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis unless canceled by the Customer. The renewal will occur using the payment method on file. 

5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify customer account.
Cancellations must be completed prior to the next billing cycle to avoid charges for the upcoming subscription period. Once billed, subscription charges are non-refundable.

6. Changes to Subscription or Pricing
Black Cat Reads reserves the right to modify subscription offerings, pricing, or billing dates with reasonable notice. Any changes will apply to future billing cycles only. 

7. Shipping & Fulfillment
Subscription shipments are processed according to the shipping timelines described on the product page or subscription policy. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays or supply availability. 

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Cat Reads shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the subscription service. 

9. Agreement Acceptance
By completing your subscription purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Subscription Agreement and the associated policies posted on our Shopify store.
